Leading digital transformation in a multilateral innovation lab

Challenge
A multilateral innovation lab needed to modernize how projects were assessed and approved, supervised, managed and tracked, across their full lifecycle, improving efficiency, traceability, and the quality of decision-making.
What we did
Led the execution of IDB Lab’s digital transformation strategy, including the implementation of a digital system for managing the full project cycle — from deal flow and ex-ante assessment to monitoring and closure. The work also included designing digital capacity-building programmes and change management strategies to support the adoption of new tools and workflows across the organization.
Impact
Helped strengthen institutional efficiency, improve traceability across operations, and support more consistent, data-informed project management and decision-making within a complex multilateral environment. Fostered cultural change for enhanced adoption of digital technologies and workflows.
